How to Fix QuickBooks Error 3371?

A damaged EntitlementDataStore.ecml file, which contains the license details for QuickBooks desktop, is responsible for the failure. It's not clear how the Entitlement file got damaged! It may have been caused by an improper shutdown of the system or corruption of the MSXML file, both of which subsequently result in QuickBooks error.
