Now, they faced Croatia in the semi-finals and won (3-0) and reached the final.

France

The France national team has been one of the most successful teams at the World Cup. They have won the FIFA World Cup two times (1998 and 2018). They were runners-up in 2006.

This  FIFA world cup edition did start well for this team. They won their first group-stage match against Australia (4-1).  They beat Denmark by 2-1 in the second match of the group stage. After that, they lose to Tunisia by 1-0 in the last match of the group stage and reached the knockout stage.

In the round of 16, they faced off against Poland and won (3-1) and reached the quarterfinal.

In the quarterfinals, they faced off against England and won (2-1), and reached the semifinal.

Now, they faced Morocco in the semi-finals and won (2-0) and reached the final.
